Black Minolta SRT-101 & 55/1.7 MC Rokkor-PF Lens in Superb Condition w/ Original Eveready Case
The classic mechanical Minolta. The SRT-101 was one of the most advanced SLRs when it was introduced in 1966, and this body from 1971 has all of the improvements made during production by that time. Featuring reliable through-the-lens CLC (Contrast Light Compensator) metering, MLU (mirror-lock-up), 1-1/1000 sec. + Bulb shutter speeds, ISO 6-6400, lockable DOF (depth-of-field) preview, self-timer, and one of the best viewfinders (which has shutter-speed readout) of its era, the SRT-101 is a well-rounded machine for both beginners and more advanced photographers. This is a very clean body with its original kit lens, and case. The meter has been re-calibrated for modern 1.55V silver oxide batteries, and the lens was given a full CLA (clean, lube, adjust). Meter and shutter speeds are accurate, and all functions are working well. Viewfinder uses a matte field with central microprism spot for focusing and is clear with a few small dust specks. The 55/1.7 MC Rokkor lens is in near-mint condition with fungus- and haze-free glass, minimal internal dust, a snappy oil-free aperture, and smooth focus and aperture rings. This is a very low-mileage kit that is ready to go. A new 357 Energizer battery and o-ring are included for the meter. Original front lens cap and manuals (including the Minolta-emblazoned bag) are also included. Weight of body + lens is 950 grams (33.5 oz). Please feel free to contact us with any questions.
