Olympus Infinity (aka AF-1) in Excellent Condition w/ Original Wrist Strap
The original weather-sealed point & shoot 35mm AF compact. Called "Nurepika" ("Wet flash") in Japan, the Infinity was Olympus's attempt to jump-start their staid compact lineup in 1986. And it did the job. Featuring an advanced 4-element 35mm f/2.8 lens with an aspheric element (another first among Japanese point & shoots), and shutter speeds from 1/30 - 1/750 sec. (a wider range than most other extant P&S models), the Infinity was also designed to be very simple to operate, with only a shutter, self-timer, focus lock, and film rewind buttons (you'll need a small pokey object to activate the rewind button) . It also included the effective ESP metering from the OM-PC (OM-40) SLR. The classic Olympus clamshell cover also serves as the OFF/ON switch. ISO range of 50-3200 & close focus of 0.75m (29.5"). A CR-P2 (DL-223A) battery powers the camera and a brand-new cell is included. Weight is 270 grams (9.5 oz) with battery. PDF manual is available online or by request.
