Minolta Freedom III Camera w/ 35mm f/2.8 lens and Brand New Lithium Battery in Very Good Condition
Minolta's top end single focal length camera introduced in 1986 with serious BTTF styling. Excellent 4 element 35mm f/2.8 lens. Sliding clamshell cover protects lens, viewfinder and AF windows when not in use and also serves as the OFF/ON switch. DX film coding range from ISO 25 - 1600. You can get camera to default to ISO 100 by taping over DX contacts on film canisters. Shutter speeds from 1/40 - 1/800 of a second. Auto and fill flash modes. Sequential or continuous film advance. 10 second self-timer. Uses one DL223A lithium or 4 AAA alkaline batteries. AAAs give about 18 rolls whereas lithium runs approx. 50 rolls of 24 exposure film. Lithium gives much quicker flash recycling and much better cold weather performance. Camera ships with a brand new Duracell DL223A lithium battery in separate packaging. Camera also uses a coin lithium backup cell for memory purposes. This cell lasts 10 years + and a fresh one has just been installed in the camera. This camera is in excellent working condition with slight cosmetic wear. It has been fully film tested and flash and self-timer function normally. Camera weight is 295 grams without batteries.
