Minolta Hi-Matic AF2 in Excellent Condition w/ Lens Cover
Introduced in 1981, the AF2 was an example of the rapid advances being made in compact autofocus cameras at the time. Its styling hearkened back to the rangefinders of the previous decade. While it had AF, it retained manual film advance and rewind. Film speeds ranged from ISO 25 - 400 and were also manually set. The lens was a classic Tessar-style 38mm f/2.8 with a 46mm filter ring. One advantage of the manual film handling is the lack of noise making for a quite a discreet camera, aside from that other '80s introduction...the beeper that warns the user to activate the flash in low light situations. This example has been film tested and is in excellent shape, both operationally and cosmetically. New light seals have been installed. It requires two AAs (not included) and comes with its original lens cap. Weight is 400 grams with batteries. Feel free to contact us with any inquiries.
