ADOX 300 w/ Schneider-Kreuznach Xenar 45mm f/2.8 Lens in Excellent Condition
Are you looking for the ultimate street or candid camera? The rare ADOX 300 may be just the ticket. With its super-quiet Compur-Rapid leaf shutter, funky vertical-stroke film advance lever and top plate selenium metering display, it makes for a sweet hip-shooter. It also features mid-roll film change capability via a clever removable film magazine system. No batteries are required for the meter or any other operation. Shutter speeds range from 1/500 - 1 sec.; the aperture goes from f/2.8 - 22; and the meter measures from 2 - 18 EV within an ISO range of 12 - 800. This particular copy features the desirable Tessar-style Schneider-Kreuznach 45/2.8 Xenar lens with 4 elements in 3 groups. The viewfinder offers 0.7x magnification and is not coupled to the lens. Scale focusing is the order of the day. All controls work smoothly and the shutter and aperture leaves are clean and snappy. This copy comes with one film magazine and has been film tested. The BEMI selenium exposure meter is dead-on. Weight is 855 grams. Feel free to contact us with any inquiries.
